Dr. Kirsten K. Shepard (LMT, DC) is the Founder and CEO of TrueStopper’s, a hemp-based solution to pain management and recovery that promotes whole body wellness. For more than 15 years, she has established integrated practices that combine medical, chiropractic, acupuncture and physical therapy approaches to whole body care, including the opening of clinics across Texas and in Los Angeles.
Dr. Kirsten Shepard started exploring the powerful healing capabilities of CBD in 2015 after her father was diagnosed with Mesothelioma and she witnessed, first-hand, the damaging effects of chemotherapy and radiation. This journey led to the creation of TrueStoppers, an innovative line of hemp-based salves, roll-ons and extracts that are scientifically-proven, triple lab-tested, natural and non-addictive.
Dr. Kirsten Shepard is an expert in her field; she has led educational sessions with other medical professionals and been recognized by notable leaders across health and fitness communities. She has been selected as a Profile of Prominence award recipient in Health Professions by the Texas legislature and received a Special Congressional Recognition from a Texas United States Senator.
Dr. Gregory T. Davis, MD is the Medical Director of Truestopper’s. A 2001 graduate of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, he completed his residency at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California. Dr. Davis is licensed in California, Texas, New Mexico and New Hampshire.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Davis graduated Cum Laude from Kansas State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1992. Before returning to Texas, Dr. Davis spent eight years practicing internal medicine in California hospitals, where he developed an interest in arthritic conditions.
“Essentially, I noticed a lack of any comprehensive/preventative care plan for arthritis sufferers,” he explains. “Therefore, joint replacement surgery appeared to be the only option beyond pain medications for these people—at least the only option offered to most patients.”
Dr. Davis’s interest in treating arthritis naturally led him to investigate nonsurgical treatment options—including the use of CBD products. In this way, Dr. Davis is excited to serve as Medical Director for Truestopper’s. His role involves teaching healthcare providers about the benefits of Truestopper’s protocols and navigating the clinical trial and FDA approval processes for the Extreme Truestopper product.
